More than 10 years ago, Jay Kinder and Michael Reese inadvertently caught up with each other one summer afternoon at Lake Texoma. Real estate was the discussion of the day as a young Jay Kinder shared how he sold 221 homes the prior year to a very open-minded Michael Reese. Who knew that a chance encounter would turn into the wildly successful partnership that is now Kinder Reese Real Estate Partners?
Since that day, Michael, Jay and their teams have sold more than 3,500 homes combined. Together, they’ve brought in more than $18,000,000 in profits for their real estate businesses and haven’t looked back since that fateful day.
Both Jay and Mike have been members of Realtor Magazine’s prestigious 30 under 30 group. They have also both been ranked within the top 100 of the 400 most successful real estate teams in North America by Real Trends of The Wall Street Journal.
Fast forward to today and Jay has established himself as one of the top real estate agents in the world, selling over 4,000 homes since 1999. In 2005, Jay was recognized as one of the top ten agents in the world for Coldwell Banker, competing with over 120,000 other agents all over the globe. By 2006, his team ranked #3 worldwide for Coldwell Banker with Jay personally ranking #2 in the region and #1 in the state of Oklahoma for 2002, 2004, 2005, 2006, and 2007.
Jay was recognized in REALTOR Magazine ® ’s prestigious ‘30 Under 30’ list, was voted the Small Business Administration Young Entrepreneur of the Year, and achieved a #41 and #25 ranking by Real Trends from the Wall Street Journal in 2010 and 2011, respectively.
Michael, too, has enjoyed immense success. While working with Keller Williams, his team was repeatedly ranked in the top five in the southwest region. He and his team broke the record for buyer sales set by one of the largest Keller Williams franchises in the world, and ultimately became recognized as one of Keller Williamsʼ Top 50 agents in the world. Michael, following the systems and strategies that would later form the backbone of NAEAʼs training, earned $1,000,000 in GCI after only three years in the business.
Michael was also featured in REALTOR Magazine ® ’s ’30 Under 30’ list for his accomplishments in the real estate industry.
